What counts as a request?

Every authenticated call to a /v1 endpoint counts as one request, logged with a request id you can find in the dashboard. Calls to /v1/ai/* endpoints additionally count against your AI request quota. Requests rejected before authentication — a bad key, for example — do not count.

Is the sandbox free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every plan includes the full sandbox environment: institution search, OAuth and MFA flows, and 24 months of deterministic data per item. Sandbox calls count toward your monthly request quota, and the Free plan's 10,000 requests are comfortably enough to build and test an integration.

What happens when I hit my quota?

We warn you first: a usage.limit_approaching webhook fires as you near your monthly quota, and the dashboard shows live usage per app. At the limit, requests return 429 rate_limit_error until the month resets or you upgrade. There are no surprise overage bills — we never silently charge for extra usage.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Plans are monthly with no minimum term. When you downgrade or cancel, the change takes effect at the end of the billing period and your keys keep working against the sandbox on the Free plan. Your data stays exportable from the dashboard either way.

How does AI pricing work?

Accepted Answer

AI endpoints are metered separately: each call to a /v1/ai/* endpoint counts as one AI request against your plan's AI quota, in addition to the regular request meter. Every response tells you which engine produced it — rules, ai, or ai+rules — and a rules-only fallback response is metered the same as a model-backed one.

Do you store my users' bank credentials?

We never store bank passwords in plaintext. OAuth and provider tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest, API keys and access tokens are stored only as SHA-256 hashes with a display prefix, and webhook secrets are encrypted and shown once at creation. Sandbox credentials are simulated and never touch a real institution.
